Chicago & Illinois Skill Assessments

Alliance HR Network is a strategic partner with Qwiz, which has been providing assessments to employers worldwide since 1986. Qwiz Tests measure a candidate’s ability to perform specific functions at basic, intermediate and advanced skill levels depending on a job’s requirements. Scoring automatically calculates a candidate’s responses, as well as the time taken to complete the test. Results are available immediately.

Typically, our candidates are assessed on their knowledge and expertise in computer software, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, typing (communication), Alphanumeric Form 1 and Tenkey.

A More Assured Investment

Highly competent administrative and clerical professionals are a must-have in practically every organization. While hiring them is costly, bringing them on board without the core skills you require is even more expensive.

An Easier And Better Way

Qwiz assessments model real-world skills, such as requiring candidates to type from hard copies of text originals.

The Overall Benefit

Qwiz offers assessments for the most up-to-date and popular word processing, spreadsheet, database application and presentation graphic packages.

Getting More Specific

In order to develop a precise picture of a candidate’s competency level, each assessment in this series incorporates functions at basic, intermediate and advanced skill levels. Qwiz assessments are carefully designed to make candidates feel like they are using the actual application, and each simulates the real environment in which the candidate will be working. This way, candidates must answer by doing (instead of guessing), and as a result, reveal the exact level of their hands-on expertise.

Testimonials

“Thanks for your role in bringing us new tools to aid in the employee selection process. The Achiever Evaluation was very helpful and objective. The questions developed as part of the behavior assessment was valuable too. [The candidate] accepted the offer yesterday and I'm thrilled to have a person with sound values and proven background. I had four viable candidates for the position and got the best one.”
